Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Design Engineer to support mobile telecom projects remotely. The successful candidate will manage the design phase, collaborating with Design and Technical leads and ensuring high-quality outputs. Candidates must have a Civil Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the UK market. Knowledge of AutoCAD and mobile network structures is essential for this role. This is a full-time remote position, allowing for flexibility while working within UK time zones.

Join Our Team as Design Engineer. Exciting Remote Job Opportunity Based in Pakistan

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our team to work remotely to support the Design and Technical Lead Managers in their daily activities, managing the design phase across mobile telecoms projects in the UK market.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Demonstrate good understanding of the mobile network and telecom structures (wall mounted poles, freestanding frames, tripods, quadpods)
• Ability to check and review structural calculations
• A Civil Engineer from a reputable university recognized by the PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council)
• Good computer skills, knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
• At lease 5 years of experience in the relevant profile
• Previous UK design experience and qualification will be considered as an huge advantage
• Desirable (would be an advantage):
• Check, review and amend (if needed) structural calculations

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Daily support of the Design Manager
• Thorough review of GA (General Arrangement) and DD (Detailed design) drawings
• Amend drawings in AutoCAD
• Prepare Red-line and As-Built drawings
• Using different tools for uploading/downloading documents and claiming various milestones
• Prepare survey schedule and liaise with surveyors
• Daily update of trackers
• Liaising with the clients
