Starbucks in Birmingham is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager to co-lead the store and deliver outstanding commercial, operational and people results. You’ll be empowered with direct accountability for key business areas, from compliance to training and local marketing, and you’ll lead the store in the manager’s absence.

This role requires prior experience in leading a team in fast-paced retail or hospitality, a passion for customer service and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the store alongside the store manager to achieve financial targets and high customer satisfaction.
• Own compliance, training and local marketing as applicable.
• Forecast staffing needs and participate in recruitment and selection.
• Lead partner training and ensure required training completion.
• Act as store manager in their absence with full accountability.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvement plans.
• Drive cost control and waste management to improve profitability.
