Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Deputy Store Manager in the UK to partner with the Store Manager to co-lead the store, drive commercial performance, and lead teams to deliver outstanding results.

You'll manage compliance, training, and people leadership, translate metrics into actions, and step in as store manager when needed. Join a dynamic, customer‑focused environment where no two days are the same.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to manage people, performance and training.
• Track record of delivering commercial results and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the store with the store manager to deliver commercial and operational results.
• Own business areas such as compliance, labour management or local marketing.
• Lead the store leadership team and drive staffing, training and recruitment.
• Forecast staffing needs and participate in recruitment and selection.
• Act as store manager when required and manage operations and partner accountability.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends and implement action plans.
• Drive cost control and profitability through effective resource planning.
• Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and safety compliance.
