Langley Trust in Bury is seeking a compassionate Deputy Service Manager to lead with Christian values, support staff and deliver high-quality, person-centred housing services.

You will deputise for the Service Manager, manage rotas, ensure safeguarding, and build partnerships while developing teams in a dynamic, supportive environment.

This permanent full-time role offers 40 hours per week and a salary of £40,178 per year with a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported housing, care or voluntary sector.
• Strong Christian values and ethos.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage challenging situations with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide Christ-centred leadership and promote the Trust’s values.
• Deputise for the Service Manager and contribute to service development.
• Lead and develop staff, manage rotas, training, and safeguarding.
• Oversee person-centred support, risk management, and records.
• Build partnerships, manage referrals and drive service improvements.
