Transforming Support is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead its large supported living service in Chipstead. You will work with the Registered Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff and ensure person-centred, safe, high-quality support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

This full-time, permanent role offers a discretionary £1,000 annual bonus, 28 days of annual leave and a fully funded enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

Experience leading or supervising a team of care staff.
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities/autism or complex needs.
Strong communication, organisational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Support the Registered Manager with daily service operations and staff management.
Provide visible, approachable leadership and direction in a busy supported living service.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to deliver effective support.
Promote person-centred, recovery-focused wellbeing approaches.
Support assessments, new placements and safe transitions into the service.
Monitor quality and governance through audits and service improvement plans.
Contribute to staffing decisions, service development and improvements.
Assist in monitoring budgets and resource use; participate in on-call rota and night checks.
