Voyage Care is seeking a Deputy Service Manager for our residential service near Langley, New Forest. The role includes 30 hours of direct care and 7.5 hours of administrative duties each week, with shifts from 7:30am to 9:30pm and every other weekend.
You will lead a dynamic team to enhance quality of life for residents. The ideal candidate will have care management experience, Level 3 Health & Social Care, and experience with autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy or physical disabilities.

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Service Manager to join us in leading our residential service in Langley. This service is an idyllic bungalow located in the New Forest, supported by a dynamic team who care for a wonderful group of individuals.
Our Deputy Service Manager will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues with the purpose of helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives. You could be developing and implementing person centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, recruiting and inducting new colleagues, completing supervisions/appraisals, completing medication competencies and medication audits, attending multi-disciplinary meetings, completing reports and generally assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our service. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Deputy Service Manager plays a central role in team leadership and have a hands-on approach to care management.
We’re interested in our Deputy Service Managers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Deputy Service Manager should have previous experience in a care management role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, down syndrome, epilepsy and physical disabilities. The successful candidate would ideally also have held a full UK Driving Licence for a year.
