Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy Quality Manager within the Pharmacy, Diagnostics and Genetics Care Group at Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will share the Trust values and be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect whilst delivering excellence in their role.
The Deputy Quality Manager, under the leadership of the Quality Manager, will assist in maintaining and developing the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Pathology Laboratories. The objective is that the Pathology Laboratories become progressively more effective and efficient in quality terms and meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
The post holder will provide support, advice and guidance to Care Group and Departmental managers in the areas of document control, audit, corrective/preventive actions, incident management, management of training, asset and supplier records, and preparation for UKAS/MHRA/HTA accreditation visits. The post holder will be a key member of the quality management team.
