Deputy Nurse Manager | Up to £36,300 | 33 Hours per week (supernumerary and clinical shifts)

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you’ll support a warm, purpose-built nursing home specialising in high-quality nursing and dementia care, combining hands‑on nursing with supernumerary leadership time to help drive outstanding standards across the service.

You’ll work closely with the Home Manager to maintain exceptional care quality, support staff, and ensure residents feel safe, supported, and valued every day. What We’re Looking For
  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical background with proven experience in a nursing home setting
  • Previous senior experience such as Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager
  • Confident in managing clinical risk, care planning, and leading a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong clinical oversight to ensure safe, evidence‑based nursing practice
  • Lead, motivate, and support the care and nursing teams
  • Complete and review assessments, care plans, and risk management processes
  • Contribute to CQC compliance, audits, and continuous quality improvement
  • Support day‑to‑day operations across 33 hours per week, including both clinical and supernumerary time
  • Promote a warm, inclusive environment for residents, families, and colleagues
