Job Summary

Deputy Manager - RGN at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will support the General Manager in operating a compliant and effective person‑centred care home that provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors while meeting professional and statutory standards and commercial performance targets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
  • Ensure medication policies and procedures are adhered to and support the review of medication and administration.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and be aware of any changes impacting care plans.
  • Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports and any other reports as required.
  • Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.
Qualifications
  • First‑level nursing qualification and current NMC registration.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar care environment in a management position.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and competence in using IT systems.
  • Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Additional Requirements
  • DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
