Main duties of the job

As the Deputy Manager - Clinical, your focus will be to support the General Manager in operating a compliant and effective person-centred care home that provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors. ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Care Home Deputy Manager - Clinical will be to support the General Manager to operate a compliant and effective person-centred care home which provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors, whilst meeting stringent professional and statutory standards and commercial performance targets.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Providing on‑going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
• Ensuring that medication policies and procedures are adhered to and supporting the review of medication and administration.
• Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans.
• Completing monthly audits, quality indicator report and any other report as required.
• Attending weekly clinical meetings and monitoring clinical risk areas in the home.
