Responsibilities
- Have adequate practical knowledge regarding preparation of General product costing such as Beverage, Polymer, Cement, Sugar, Rice, Footwear, Consumer Items and apparels.
- Maintaining and tracking inventory.
- Provide product costing expertise to Product Development team during product creation cycles to advise on key cost drivers and options to adjust costs to meet margin targets.
- Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets managing budgets after completion of Job.
- Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory•
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
- Liaising between customer and company.•
- Sourcing the product & Negotiation the rate.
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals•
- Analyzing sales figures, market trends and customer behavior to determine product needs.
- Determining the need for and implementing product promotions, price changes, mark downs, clear outs, etc.
- Ensuring retail staff are well informed on product details and promotions.
- Maintaining and tracking inventory.
- Liaising between customer and company.
- Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets managing budgets after completion of Job.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
- Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
- Own seasonal margin report preparation and analysis and reporting tool updates and maintenance at each key milestone.
- Recommend and design improvements to the reporting tool.
- Create and manage seasonal FOB KPI reporting tool to facilitate product value/ margin/FOB discussion with cross-functional teams and to enhance margin optimization•
- Partner with Liaison Costing Team to monitor and forecast raw material price trends, labor cost trends in sourcing countries and other cost drivers•
- Maintaining and tracking inventory.
- Advise on long range FOB forecasting to facilitate strategic decision making, sourcing allocation and financial planning.
- Understand Innovation Team product strategies and provide costing expertise at prototype stage to inform design and manufacturing decisions well-ahead of inline production.
