Deputy Manager Clinical

This is a great opportunity for a passionate and hands on nurse to join the home as a clinical deputy manager.

Responsibilities
  • Support and deputise for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
  • Operate as the home’s nurse expert with a combination of nursing, managerial, and leadership responsibilities.
  • Focus on residents with complex needs; ensure adherence to latest guidelines, make decisions, and maintain high levels of clinical governance.
  • Regularly audit practices and procedures, develop and assess care plans, conduct walk rounds, and provide personalised, centred care while collaborating with the team.

Who you are
  • An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools.
  • Keen to develop leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.
