Job description

Working as Deputy Manager, Deputies work alongside the Registered Managers to ensure effective running of the home, including oversight and quality assurance. They will support the staff team, helping to embed a high-performance culture by assisting your team to continually develop their skills, so that they can achieve the best outcomes for our children and their families.

The Deputy will also lead on delegated areas of running the Home and represent the Registered Manager as required. Through reflective supervision meetings with your team, you'll champion their personal and professional growth. Alongside your role as a people manager, you will also be responsible for the allocation and oversight of care within the home, ensuring quality standards are maintained, as well as supporting the team to identify areas for improvement and decide when to take protective action.

The role will be based in one of our children's homes in Exeter, Devon. We provide ongoing personal development tailored to your specific training needs, including access to the level 5 diploma. This post attracts enhancements for unsocial hours working.

Salary details: Starting rate at £20.66 per hour, rising to £22.85 per hour. Overnight: £27.55 per hour, rising to £30.47. Saturday: £30.99 per hour, rising to £34.28. Sunday and bank holidays: £41.32 per hour, rising to £45.70.
