Overview

As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll be ensuring the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver a service that's empathetic to resident issues.

About You / Qualifications
  • Valid NMC Pin.

  • Strong mentoring ability, effective time management, and ability to keep meaningful records.
  • Demonstrates kindness, consideration, and good communication with residents and co-workers.
  • Values kindness and supports dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care homes.
  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect; completes safeguarding training and follows appropriate reporting/escalation procedures.
