A leading health care provider in Horley is seeking a Deputy Care Home Manager to assist in the daily operations of a nursing home. Rosewood is a registered care home with nursing services, accommodating up to eight individuals with learning disabilities and associated profound physical and health needs. The home is registered to perform two regulated activities:
Rosewood is a spacious, purpose‑built bungalow featuring eight large single rooms. These rooms are designed to cater to both male and female adults and include overhead tracking systems. Some rooms are also equipped with epilepsy monitoring systems, enabling us to meet the complex needs of each resident.
Our dedicated staff team comprises both nursing care professionals and support workers. They are committed to helping residents engage in active lifestyles that support their personal aspirations and life dreams.

Supporting the Home Manager in the day‑to‑day management and delivery of one of SABP's Care Homes with Nursing for adults with learning disabilities. To ensure the delivery of high‑quality care for individuals with Learning Disability and Complex Health needs, which promotes independence and dignity and positively enhances the lives of individuals in our service.

This role would suit someone who has a passion for ensuring the smooth running of a Residential Care home service and who enjoys managing and supporting people to achieve their potential. This role would suit an individual who is committed to improving services for people with learning disabilities and maintaining staff well‑being, and can provide a regular management presence in the service. Rosewood was rated as Good by CQC at their last inspection, so the successful candidate must be passionate about maintaining high standards and making further improvements.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
