Job summary

Biffa in the United Kingdom is looking for a Traffic Dispatcher / Transport Administrator to manage day-to-day depot operations, allocate vehicles, and route planning to ensure service excellence while upholding health, safety and environmental standards.

You will balance driver availability, vehicle checks, payroll and tachograph records, driving cost-efficiency from depot data, and deliver best-in-class customer service in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local area.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
• Solutions-driven mindset with strong problem-solving.
• Customer-focused, engaging and supportive of a diverse customer base.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in administration, call handling, or time-critical environments is a plus.
