Biffa Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Traffic Dispatcher / Transport Administrator on a full-time contract with a Monday to Friday start at 16:00. You will organise day-to-day depot operations, allocate vehicles and ensure service levels while upholding health, safety and environmental standards.

In this fast-paced role you’ll improve operations through data, engage staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a leading waste management provider.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local area and ability to plan routes efficiently.
• Experience handling admin tasks (payroll, timesheets, tachograph records).
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Optimising routes and vehicle utilisation to deliver top-class service.
• Managing driver availability and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Overseeing vehicle checks, safety and maintenance.
• Handling payroll, timesheets, tachographs and reporting.
• Driving cost-efficiency by analysing depot data and improving operations.
