Arriva TrainCare seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee daily depot operations, manage driver attendance, and allocate duties to ensure reliable services. You will champion safety, coach teams, and uphold HR policies while maintaining high standards of customer service.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, monitor KPIs, and work with Trade Unions to drive improvements and cost-efficient scheduling. A proactive, flexible leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in staff/resource management.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and requirements.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Customer-focused and service-driven mindset.
• Proficient IT skills and aptitude with data/tools.
• Ability to influence and lead teams under pressure.
• Knowledge of PCV/HGV industry preferred.
• Experience working with Trade Unions beneficial.
• Flexible, self-motivated and resilient attitude.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day depot operations and ensure duties are covered.
• Manage driver attendance, briefing, and allocation of vehicles/duties.
• Maintain uniform and appearance standards.
• Support HR policies and manage absence records.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure vehicle availability.
• Monitor KPIs and service quality; drive improvements.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with HS&E standards.
• Coordinate overtime planning for cost efficiency.
• Engage with Trade Union representatives to foster constructive relationships.
• Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
