The Role

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring both patients and staff have the best possible experience. This is a leadership position that combines business administration, team management, and a commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the dental practice.
  • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and HR-related tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Handle patient feedback, complaints, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs and manage budgets, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Support marketing and patient acquisition efforts.
  • Maintain and promote health and safety standards.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager (dental or medical preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of dental software systems, R4.
  • Understanding of CQC standards and compliance.
  • Financial acumen and budgeting experience.
