Demolition / Civils Site Supervisor - Scotland (Central Belt)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + vehicle/allowance + travel expenses

Region: Scotland & Northern England**

Overview

SEDR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Demolition/Civils Site Supervisor to oversee demolition, enabling works, and below‑ground pipework removal across Scotland and the North of England. This role is ideal for a hands‑on supervisor with strong knowledge of demolition practices, site safety, and multi‑site coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise structural and industrial demolition works
  • Lead removal of pipework, underground services, and decommissioned utilities
  • Manage labour, plant, subcontractors, and daily site activities
  • Deliver site inductions, briefings, toolbox talks, and safe systems of work
  • Ensure compliance with CCDO standards, HSE legislation, and approved RAMS
  • Maintain daily reports, check sheets, and site documentation
  • Liaise with engineers, clients, and internal project teams
  • Uphold high safety, quality, and productivity standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • CCDO Supervisor (or Manager level)
  • SSSTS minimum (SMSTS desirable)
  • EUSR / EU RS qualification beneficial
  • Proven background in demolition and/or civils enabling works
  • Experience managing crews or multiple work fronts
  • Strong understanding of HSE standards (HSG47, HSG150)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
