Job Title : Demand Planning Analyst

Location : Preston (hybrid)

Salary : £32,000 - £35,000 DOE

Service Care are delighted to be working with a local, home grown business who are looking for an Analyst to join their Demand Planning team. This role would be suitable for anyone with forecasting and analytical experience. Having worked with the client several times I can safely say they are a great organisation to work for and candidates I have placed are still there over 4 years later!

Duties include but are not limited to :
  • Manage purchasing for new lines and rebuys, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with service levels.
  • Compile and deliver accurate reports for customers and internal teams using Excel and large data sets.
  • Implement and oversee the Critical Path process for all orders.
  • Forecast demand and manage rebuys based on lead times and minimum order quantities.
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders with global suppliers, considering lead times and seasonal factors.
  • Maintain 98% stock availability through proactive forward forecasting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries and maintain smooth operations.
  • Review supplier performance and implement sustainability changes in packaging.
  • Build and optimize reporting tools to improve efficiency.
  • Support Head of Customer Operations and assist with customer visits as required.
