Job summary
DPD Group UK in Newbury is seeking a customer service adviser to support both internal and external customers with parcel collection or delivery queries. You will collaborate with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues, proactively resolve them and own the resolution process.
You will handle delivery status questions, provide POD, investigate missing parcels and disputes, and promote our products and services to customers.
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
- Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
- Polite, professional at all times and willing to go the extra mile.
- Excellent administration skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.
- Self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.
Responsibilities
- Answer queries regarding delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Carry out investigations for missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
- Promote company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Work with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues and resolve them.
