Job summary

DPDGroup in the United Kingdom is seeking a customer service advisor to support parcel collections and deliveries. You will work closely with drivers, shift managers and operations managers to identify issues, solve problems and take ownership of resolutions.

You will handle delivery status queries and PODs, conduct investigations into missing parcels, resolve disputes, and promote DPD products and services to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Polite and professional at all times with a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed expectations.
• Excellent administration skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.

Responsibilities

• Help internal and external customers with parcel collection or delivery.
• Work with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues and resolve them.
• Answer queries about delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
• Promote DPD products and services to customers.
