Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Delivery Driver 3.5t for Dundee. The role involves local multi-drop deliveries, loading/unloading, and maintaining strong customer relationships while representing the brand on site.

The position is permanent part-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30–16:30, with benefits including annual leave, pension, bonuses, health options, and other staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
• Multidrop driving experience is advantageous.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Be a team player who helps in all areas to ensure smooth branch operations.
• Eagerness to learn with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t van delivering to customers in the local area, performing multi-drop runs.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and act as a positive brand ambassador.
• Conduct daily vehicle, equipment and load checks to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• When not on deliveries, assist in warehouse tasks including unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

• Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)


• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand


• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects


• Loading and unloading deliveries where required


• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 16:30pm.
