Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Part Time Delivery Driver in Kirkcaldy (KY2 5DH). You will perform local multi-drop deliveries in a T van, with a 20-hour workweek, starting at 07:30am, Monday to Friday. The role includes loading/unloading and occasional overtime.

This permanent position offers a base salary of £13,347, plus bonus and excellent benefits, including pension, healthcare, and staff discounts through Wolseley Talent Guild.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Previous multidrop driving is advantageous.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customers in the local area with a T van for multi-drop routes.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers as a brand ambassador.
• Adhere to Health and Safety, perform daily vehicle and load checks, report defects.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Assist in warehouse duties: unloading stock, picking/packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

As a Part Time Delivery Driver based in Kirkcaldy you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a T van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a start time of 07:30am. You will predominately be working mornings but need to be flexible to cover potential afternoon deliveries. On occasion overtime may also be available (but not guaranteed).
