Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of Wolseley Group, is recruiting a Part Time Delivery Driver (3.5t) for Kirkcaldy (KY2 5DH). The role involves local multi‑drop deliveries, customer service, and occasional warehouse support.

Hours are 20 per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 07:30am, with some mornings guaranteed and potential overtime. Applicants should hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence; prior 3.5t multidrop driving is preferred and warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous 3.5t multidrop driving is advantageous.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Be a team player happy to assist in all areas for smooth branch operations.
• Eagerness to learn with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 T van delivering to customers in the local area with multi‑drop runs (heavy stock handling).
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships and be a positive brand ambassador.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures; perform daily vehicle, equipment and load checks and report defects.
• Load and unload deliveries when required and assist in loading duties.
• When not on deliveries, assist in the warehouse with unloading stock, picking and packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

As a Part Time 3.5t Delivery Driver based in Kirkcaldy you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5 T van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a start time of 07:30am. You will predominately be working mornings but need to be flexible to cover potential afternoon deliveries. On occasion overtime may also be available (but not guaranteed).
