Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a part-time delivery driver for 20 hours weekly in Kirkcaldy. The role involves 3.5t van deliveries with a focus on customer service and safe operations. Training and career development are offered within a group known for extensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 T van for multi-drop deliveries in the local area, handling heavy stock.
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, representing the brand positively.
• Adhere to Health and Safety; perform daily vehicle and load checks and report defects.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• When not driving, assist in warehouse duties such as unloading stock, picking/packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 T van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a start time of 07:30am. You will predominately be working mornings but need to be flexible to cover potential afternoon deliveries. On occasion overtime may also be available (but not guaranteed).
