Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, through its Plumb Centre operation in Rochdale, is hiring a 3.5t Delivery Driver. You will perform multi‑drop deliveries within a 50‑mile radius, while building strong customer relationships and adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t van for multi-drop deliveries within ~50 miles of the Rochdale branch.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers as a positive brand ambassador.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload deliveries when required and assist in warehouse duties.
• Support branch operations to ensure smooth day-to-day running.

As a 3.5t Delivery Driver based in Rochdale, you'll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers within a 50 mile radius of the branch (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment, and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturday's 08.00am - 12.00pm.
