Self-employed Core Delivery Driver

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers you’ll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don’t need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

Overview

We are hiring self-employed delivery drivers to work with Yodel. This role offers flexible hours, regular work in local areas, and the opportunity to earn by delivering and collecting parcels.

Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Typical pay ranges from £18 - £20 per hour (paid per parcel). Rates are enhanced to reflect mileage and operational costs.

Daily & Weekly Payment Options. Flexible payment options allow access to earnings from the next day via the Onsi app or a weekly cycle after 4 weeks of completed deliveries.

There are plenty of parcels to deliver, with parcels up to 15 kg and varying sizes. Typical delivery/collection can be 16-25 parcels per hour, 6 days a week.

You’ll have freedom and flexibility. Plan your own route or use our app with built-in optimisation and direct customer liaison.

Regular work in the same area, 6 days a week. We deliver for major retailers, so there are ongoing opportunities locally.

Development and support. You’ll have independence as a self-employed driver plus access to a Yodel representative for questions and guidance.

The Life of a Core Delivery Driver

Each day is what you make it. Plan your own route and use your mobile to scan parcels, ensuring safe receipt by the customer. We can arrange daily parcel collection or drop-off in rural areas as needed.
