People Solutions in Coalville, Leicestershire, is recruiting for a Pre-Caller / Customer Service Coordinator to support a well-established client. The role focuses on customer contact ahead of deliveries, booking management, and data quality.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, in a permanent position with a salary of £26,500 and no weekend work. The role also involves reporting and coordinating with transport and operations teams to improve delivery success.

Qualifications

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Strong customer service focus with attention to detail.
Ability to build rapport with customers and work within a team.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

Contact customers before scheduled deliveries to confirm requirements and availability.
Verify delivery dates, access restrictions, site opening hours, and delivery instructions.
Resolve queries relating to upcoming deliveries and maintain customer records.
Book and manage delivery bookings and escalate issues to operations.
Provide delivery status updates and monitor progress in systems.
