Responsibilities

  • Manage, control and coordinate all transport operations and MT staff.
  • Act as the named Transport Manager and CPC Holder for Babcock’s Vehicle Operator Licences.
  • Ensure full compliance across all transport activities, standards and procedures.
  • Drive innovation and improvements in working practices, operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Monitor, review and optimise fleet performance to meet operational and cost requirements.

Skills

Knowledge of SHEF practices and procedures
Strong understanding of MS Office tools
Familiarity with Tri-Service and/or MoD practices
Proven managerial experience in a transport environment

Education

Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Considerable experience in road transport management
Full clean UK driving licence
