Ex-Mill Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager (Defence & Aerospace) for Bristol or Swindon. Circa £80,000 plus excellent benefits, to lead as the Air Domain lead across the UK, Middle East and Africa.

You will engage senior military officers, shape defence capability, translate requirements into solutions, and travel extensively to defence events and customers. Ideal candidates include former RAF officers with capability development, procurement, and programme delivery

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with senior military officers and government agencies.
• Ability to identify opportunities from concept to contract award.
• Understanding defence procurement processes and programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships across the RAF and UK MOD.
• Lead customer engagement from concept through to contract award.
• Translate operational requirements into practical solutions with engineering teams.
• Support bids, demonstrations and customer trials.
• Represent the company at UK and international defence exhibitions and events.
