Qualifications

• A recognised engineering related qualification.
• Proven technical understanding of engineering-led manufacturing and development services.
• Ability to engage credibly with stakeholders including senior leadership team.
• Proven track record of Business Development and outward facing sales.
• Competence with MS office packages
• Working knowledge of a modern CRM software package (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar)
• Understanding of CNC machining, tooling, jigs and fixtures, metal forming, prototyping, and development builds.
• Exposure to multi-discipline engineering programmes, Prototype-to-production transition projects.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100
• Formal training in technical or consultative sales, solution-based or value-based selling.
• Security Requirements: Eligible for SC, DV, or equivalent security clearance where required.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• High levels of integrity and professionalism.
• Customer relationship management and Strategic Account Development, identifying opportunities and upselling.
• Commercial acumen, protecting margins while maintaining relationships.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across designated markets and sectors.
• To develop new opportunities to be quoted in the central estimating department.
• Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
• To develop existing accounts and look at divisions within these customers where we do not currently engage/interact.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers new sectors and current clients.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
