Job summary

Plexus is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager for the UK Defence sector with remote UK work. You will hunt multi-million-pound opportunities across MoD supply chains, Tier 1 primes, and aerospace networks.

This high-visibility role includes coaching on Shipley/Challenger methodologies, a structured leadership path, and a performance-driven incentive structure. You will build executive relationships and drive strategic selling while operating remotely from the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a track record in sales or business development, ideally in UK Defence/Aerospace.
• Experience generating pipelines and managing complex B2B relationships.
• Security Clearance (SC) advantageous; willingness to undergo vetting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and capture high-value opportunities; build a target account list.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to craft winning solutions.
• Develop multi-level relationships across UK MoD, Defence Primes, and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor UK Defence funding cycles, market trends, and competition to inform strategy.
• Apply strategic selling and long-cycle sales methodologies to win value over price.
