Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Business Development Manager - Defence for the UK market, based in Farnborough or Whiteley with travel and some home-working flexibility. You will drive BD activities, manage a multi-year growth pipeline, and build strategic relationships with Defence clients, guiding bids to successful outcomes.

The role requires substantial UK Defence sales experience, a proven track record of large contract wins, and the ability to lead cross-functional bid teams to deliver differentiated

Qualifications

• Substantial experience selling into the UK Defence market.
• Existing client relationships in the UK MOD.
• Track record of driving growth and hitting targets.
• Experience winning contracts valued > £25m.
• Ability to lead multi-stakeholder bids and teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead BD activities to meet annual targets in UK Defence.
• Develop and manage a pipeline for 2–5 year growth.
• Maintain senior relationships with Defence clients and position Leidos as a strategic supplier.
• Guide bid teams in pursuit and shaping of campaigns.
• Lead and execute major new business campaigns in the UK Defence market.
