Job summary

Morgan Ryder is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within the Defence and Aerospace sectors, selling CNC machining and engineered solutions to Tier 1- OEM customers.

This field-based role covers the UK south, requiring strong stakeholder engagement with procurement and engineering teams, and a proven track record in closing complex deals. Competitive package includes up to £70,000 basic plus 20% bonus, company car/allowance, and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Proven track record of selling CNC machining services into defence/aerospace sectors.
Experience engaging with procurement and supply chain stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and closing skills for complex deals.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work autonomously.
Experience managing long and complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

Identify, target and win new business within defence and aerospace markets.
Sell CNC machining services and engineered manufacturing solutions.
Engage Procurement Managers, Supply Chain Directors, and Engineering leads.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract award.
Develop strategic account plans for key target customers.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.
