Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to cover Aerospace and Defence in Northern England and Scotland. The role is home-based with regular customer travel, focusing on developing new customers and opportunities from enquiry to quotation across a largely undeveloped territory.

You will join an established engineering business supplying cable harnesses, EWIS, and electro-mechanical assemblies to Aerospace, Defence, Space, Rail and other advanced engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Technical/engineering background required.
• Strong communication skills and commercial ambition.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and markets across your territory.
• Meet engineering, procurement and commercial decision-makers.
• Understand customer applications and technical requirements.
• Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through quotation and negotiation.
• Manage your pipeline and develop strategic customer relationships.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Attend customer visits, exhibitions and industry events.
