Job summary

VWFS UK is seeking a diligent customer service focused professional to process finance documents from Volkswagen Group dealers and retailers. The role emphasizes accurate data handling, timely payouts, and compliance with FCA regulations.

You will respond to dealer queries by phone or correspondence, liaise with Customer Services and other areas, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant acts and standards.

Qualifications

• Full PC literacy essential.
• Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities.
• Previous customer service centre, call centre or finance company experience is desirable.
• An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable.
• Strong customer service focus essential and a customer friendly manner at all times.
• Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes.
• Able to cope with pressure, meet deadlines, and work a flexible working pattern incl. evenings and weekends plus some Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responding to dealer enquiries, mainly by phone.
• Entering / handling customer and dealer data via internal systems that processing procedures and response time guidelines are followed, with speed and accuracy being paramount.
• Validating customer documentation with proposal details when received and authorising appropriate payment to the dealer.
• Close liaison with other business areas including Customer Services.
• Maintaining your level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure you are competent to fulfil your role.
• Processing finance documents submitted by VWFS UK dealers/Retailers - verifying details and ensuring speedy payout to our dealers.
• Advising dealers and customers over the phone or in writing to ensure swift and compliant outcomes.
