Job description

As our Deal Desk Analyst, you will be a vital operational hub for our deal-making process. You will work within our commercial framework to ensure all deals are structured for success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deal Analysis and Structuring: Work closely with the Sales team to analyse deal requirements, applying established pricing models to structure quotes that are commercially sound and profitable.
  • Commercial Guidance: Serve as a key point of contact for pricing and deal structure, providing guidance to the sales team in line with company policy.
  • Financial Modelling: Utilise and maintain financial models to assess the commercial impact of pricing decisions and ensure margins are met.
  • Governance and Approvals: Manage the day‑to‑day internal deal approval process, ensuring all requests are compliant, documented, and submitted correctly for sign‑off.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Legal, and Operations to ensure a smooth and efficient deal lifecycle.
  • Tender & Bids Support: Provide accurate and timely pricing and commercial input for responses to formal tenders (RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs).
  • Process Improvement: Help to identify and implement improvements to our pricing tools, systems, and deal‑desk processes for greater efficiency.

Equifax is seeking a detail‑oriented and commercially‑ minded Deal Desk Analyst to join our team in either Leeds, Nottingham, or London. This is a key role where you will support our commercial success by providing essential analysis, structure, and process management for our most important deals. You will be a central point of contact, helping our Sales team navigate the deal cycle from quotation to signature.

Qualifications
  • A strong academic background (2:1 or First Class degree) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Current experience in a role such as Deal Desk Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, or Financial Analyst.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and apply it to commercial scenarios.
  • Proven experience working effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an excellent eye for detail.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
