DBA - SaaS Platform Supporting

Location: Wokingham - Hybrid (2 days a week onsite, 3 days from home). Parking onsite.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of performance, reliability, and security across large-scale, sharded databases.
• Hands-on DBA role where uptime, optimisation, and smart architecture directly impact NHS services.
• Work with MySQL, Vitess, and Linux in production (Don't worry if you haven't worked with Vitess).
• Monitor with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Shard allocation, replication tuning, disk performance.
• Backup, restore, and DR testing.
• Data migrations and custom table loads for NHS tenants.
• Zero-downtime patching and performance baselining.

What You'll Be Working With

• MySQL, Vitess, and Linux in production (Don't worry if you haven't worked with Vitess).
