A prominent UK healthcare institution is seeking a full-time Database Support Officer in Leeds. The role involves data management for the National Diabetes Audit, data extraction, and administrative tasks. TheDiabetes department based in Beckett Wing have an exciting opportunity for afull time Band 3 Database Support Officer to join our very friendly andapproachable team consisting of medical secretaries and administrative staff.We work very closely with our clinical and admin teams forging strongrelationships to deliver the best care for our services users.
Previousexperience in data collection would be an advantage for this role.
Theinterview date for this role will be on Friday 6th February.

Weare looking for a highly motivated team player who can work to a highprofessional standard to join the Diabetes admin team.
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for the timely submission of thedata for the National Diabetes Audit.This role requires a high level of concentration and will involveextracting data from several different areas and uploading them directly ontothe national database.
Youwill also be repsonsible for collecting the data for the National DiabetesFoot Audit.
Generaladhoc administrative tasks will also be expected as and when required.
Thediabetes admin team comprises of 1 senior medical secretary, 3 medicalsecretaries, 2 clerk/typists and the database support officer (thispost) The team are hardworking, veryknowledgeable and are a great bunch of people who are fun to be around.
TheDiabetes Centre is a busy and exciting department that offers an ample numberof opportunities to learn more about the service, and the CSU. Leeds Teaching Hospitals is great to be apart of as it has lots of new and interesting opportunities made availablefor staff.
Thispost is based at the St James Hospital in a busy but friendly department, andyou will be expected to prioritise your workload to meet the demands of therole. The successful candidate willneed to have the ability to work using their own initiative.
