A leading secure cloud managed services provider is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee on-site operations at their Maidenhead Data Centre. The role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing operating systems, and providing exceptional customer service. Typical work involves a rotating shift schedule, allowing for hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £28k, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
We’re expanding rapidly and looking for talented people to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll take ownership of on-site operations at our Maidenhead Data Centre, ensuring customer platforms run smoothly and efficiently. Every day will bring new challenges as you troubleshoot hardware and software issues across a variety of technologies, from networking gear to servers. You’ll install and configure operating systems, monitor system performance, and respond to alerts to maintain reliability and uptime. You’ll also play a key role in delivering exceptional customer support - resolving technical problems quickly and professionally while keeping a calm, customer-focused approach. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll provide 24/7 support on a rotating shift basis, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to enterprise-level technologies in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
