Job description

Our vacancy is for a Dance Health Programmes Manager who will play an important role in our Engagement team.

The purpose of this role is to assist with the planning, management and delivery of high-quality dance health programmes and projects, both nationally and locally, and to play an active role in the day‑to‑day running and long‑term vision of the Engagement team. The role will include working closely with the Dance Health Manager and Head of Engagement to review, refine, and enhance dance health programmes, ensuring they remain impactful, accessible, and aligned with Scottish Ballet’s strategic goals. The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners is key to the success of this role.

Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience of conceiving and delivering a range of dance initiatives and training, both in community, professional and formal education settings.
  • Knowledge, understanding and practical experience within the field of dance for health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish excellent working relationships both internally at Scottish Ballet and externally.
  • Ability and willingness to work to own initiative and as part of a team.
Details

It’s a full‑time role: 35 hours per week. Salary is £32,000 to £34,000 per annum, dependant on experience. Working hours will align with the Engagement programme, and will at times include some evening and weekend work.
