Job description

Are you looking for more flexibility and to choose which days you work each week? Do you enjoy covering a range of subjects and year groups? If so, we've got the perfect opportunity for you! Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting for a dedicated daily supply teacher in the Thanet area to work in a range of secondary school settings. The role will be flexible and would suit full time or part time hours - daily rate of 135 PAYE!

The role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Manage the behaviour of the students to ensure a positive learning environment
  • Ensure you're proactive and engaging the students in their work
  • Adapt quickly to different situations and schools depending on the needs for the day

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous experience of working with secondary school students
  • Passion for education and a commitment to encouraging student success
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in various classroom environments
  • Confident in managing classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
  • Be available between 8:15am and 3:30pm on the days you're available for work
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Right to work in the UK
