Customer Team Member

Location: London Road, Ashington, Storrington, RH20 3JT

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: Sunday 9am to 5pm, Wednesday evenings, some Saturday shifts, other evening shifts can be discussed at interview.

We're looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co‑op.

As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store, such as re‑stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

  • Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first by responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and membership, and delivering a great shopping experience
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural and share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events
