Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in Stansted is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to operate on the front line of sales and customer service from the depot. The role involves coordinating the hire process from order to delivery, liaising with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure customer needs are met and service is seamless.

Based in a desk-based environment, you will interact with multiple departments to minimise delays and to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Adaptability.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving license.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Based in the depot, you will be on the front line of sales and customer service.
• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot.
• Work with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure equipment is available and to minimise delays in fulfilling customer needs.
