Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is seeking a Customer Service Advisor in Bury St Edmunds to act as the frontline link between customers and the depot, handling orders from enquiry to delivery and collection.

You will build strong relationships, coordinate with stock, drivers and engineers, and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting business needs. The role is desk-based within a busy depot, with a focus on service excellence and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Driving licence is required.
• Experience in the hire industry or similar sales/operational roles.
• Ability to support ESG initiatives and the Decade to Deliver plan.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams, stock, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs.
• Provide front-line customer service and relationship management.
