Kinaxia Derby – Belper is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy team in Belper. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will handle enquiries, complaints, and bookings, keep detailed records, and ensure a professional, responsive service in line with our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within transport, logistics, or warehousing.
• Experience using CRM systems (Sage desirable).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries, complaints, and escalated issues through the CRM system, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and track complaint outcomes.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in line with service standards, policies, and SLAs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, keeping customers informed at every stage.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, promoting a One Team approach.
• Coordinate delivery bookings and monitor timed deliveries, flagging any potential issues.
• Provide customer quotations in line with pricing schedules.
• Update and maintain customer and operational data within systems.
• Ensure compliance with HR, GDPR, and Health & Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

As Our Customer Service Advisor, You Will

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within transport, logistics, or warehousing.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems (Sage experience desirable).
• Experience using software management systems such as Stirling and Contrado (advantageous).
• Strong customer account management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with both customers and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using multiple software systems and managing customer information accurately.
