Job summary

Isca Recruitment Limited is assisting a client in the United Kingdom to recruit a Customer Service Advisor for an office-based role. You will handle 40-50 inbound calls daily, delivering high-quality service while assisting customers with enquiries, claims and administrative tasks.

The role requires empathy, professionalism and excellent communication. It offers a rotating schedule, with a starting salary of £27,800 per annum rising to £28,800 after successful probation, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a telephone-based customer service role
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of customer calls
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Calm and resilient when handling sensitive conversations
• Empathy and professionalism at all times
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Process customer calls and administration requests efficiently and accurately
• Provide support across channels including online chat and email
• Maintain accurate, confidential customer records using in-house systems
• Assist customers with website and app functionality and promote self-service
• Work toward team KPIs and quality standards
• Escalate service-impacting issues when required
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborative culture
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the customer journey
