Red Recruitment is recruiting enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our client in NE35 9PF as a Customer Service Advisor. The role involves telephone, email and live chat support for our stationary brand, handling enquiries and resolving issues to create a positive customer experience.

You will be the first point of contact, deliver outstanding service, and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service abilities with a friendly, professional approach.
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
• Desirable: previous customer service or contact centre experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Process orders, enquiries and customer requests accurately and efficiently.
• Take inbound calls in a friendly, professional and informative manner.
• Make outbound calls to businesses and consumers when required.
• Assist customers with product information, order queries and returns processes.
• Escalate complex issues to the senior customer service team when appropriate.
• Accurately update customer records and maintain the company database.
• Complete a range of administrative tasks to support the customer service function.
• Manage customer accounts from quotation through to payment follow-up.
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting a variety of client accounts.
